For our music video, we decided that we wanted to create a non-linear piece of work, the reason why is that it was easier and made more of an interesting storyline if there was parallel editing of a flash back within the video, the video starts with a performance start, it has the fist line lip synched by Michael, then the scene cuts to the narrative of Michael on the bench, in parallel editing terms, the areas where Michael is alone is continuity edited as it is a timeline of Michaels actions in the video, the clip with Michael and Bethan together are filtered to represent the change in time and manner in the video. The video is experimental as the last narrative clip in the video is Michael lying on the grass, this is taken from the filtered clip of Michael and Bethan together, this time Michael is on his own, and the reason for this is the mental image that he no longer has the person that he wants in the video.
